The Boaters' Friendly Net

Meets every day at 8 AM Pacific Time

7233.5 kHz

The Baja Net is one of the boaters’ favorite nets on the West Coast.  It has a long history of handling traffic for mariners who are out of touch with friends and family. Several  stations have phone patches enabling them to put you right on the line to talk to your loved ones.

Many boaters listen to the net to find out where their friends are today.  It’s a good place to meet.  Get together on this frequency and then move to another frequency to talk to your station.

WEATHER AT 8:15    We have a couple of great weathermen.  Tom, AA6TP, comes in on the weekends and has been doing it for many years.  Don, N6HG, covers it on the weekdays.  Click on their callsigns to find out more about them.
